Re-Imagined Vintage Jewelry

Re-Imagined Vintage Jewelry ~ Each one-of-a-kind piece is made from forgotten authentic vintage jewelry and other found objects that I have rescued; creating the perfect combination of time-aged elements with a modern twist of fresh vintage and funky unique sophistication. Every piece is a named, signed and dated art story that draws its influences from poems, literature, song lyrics, etc.

Artist Bio

Angela Cole has always had a weakness for old things. Whether she's getting lost amongst the treasures of a great antique store or perusing the booths at a giant flea-market, she's always on the lookout for something beautiful and unique. It's that love of old things that is at the core of November Rose Atelier.

Angela collects vintage jewelry, carefully choosing each piece for its character and structural integrity. Then, at her studio in southwest Missouri, she breathes new life into those pieces by modifying and redesigning them in new and surprising ways. The result is what Angela likes to call "re-imagined vintage jewelry."; Every piece is one of a kind, and every piece is a wearable art story. The jewelry represents a unique connection to the past with a funky, modern twist.

Though she hopes that women find their own meaning in her designs, Angela can't resist giving each piece a special name before she sends it out into the world. The names are usually taken from poetry, literature, or song lyrics, and they often lend even more personal significance to the piece for a collector.

Re-imagined vintage jewelry speaks to Angela, and it speaks to the women who buy it. She is inspired by the idea of giving a second chance to jewelry that might otherwise have been negated to a dusty shelf or a dark closet. She relishes those moments when she gets to see that old jewelry become someone's favorite jewelry all over again.

"I love to imagine what its story was and what its new story will be," she says.
